Church Activities - 2009
July 25 - Grace Ramblers are off again - this time to Pat's in Henderson.
July - Connie came to visit - it was nice to see you again
June 2009 - Cross Point Baptist Church joined with Grace Baptist Church to present a Vacation Bible School for the children in the neighborhood and the children of Cross point. We kicked it off with a neighborhood barbeque on Wednesday, followed with two mornings of activities.
March 8, 2009 Church cook-out - hamburgers and hot dogs were served to all who came - we had a great time and a great turn out.
February 14, 2009 - Valentine's breakfast - The men prepared and served a Valentine's brunch for the ladies of the church - The food was delicious and the fellowship was great. About 20 ladies attended and were waited on hand a foot by the guys.
January 2009 - Mason Griffin was hired as our piano player - what a guy!
Sundary morning on November 23, 2008 The Providentials led our praise service.
April 12, 2008 - Grace Baptist had its 66th anniversary. This has been an exciting years for all of us. With Pastor Don Perkins, and Kenny Bratton our assistant pastor, our members have seen people saved, people healed, new members baptised and a new baby to dedicate to the Lord! What a year!

Part of our blessings this year was our fellowship with John and Delores Powers from Alabama. John and Delores were here for about three months and in those three month, they became friends for life. They go home to pastor Cooks Springs Baptist Church in Pell City, Alabama. So, if you are in that neck of the woods on Sunday - stop by - and tell them Grace Baptist sent you.
